Understand the Winglo dashboard

Learn how the workspace navigation, department areas, badges, filters, and common action states fit together.

The Winglo dashboard has a workspace-wide area for work that crosses departments and a dedicated area for each active AI department. Start from the business question you need to answer, then choose the narrowest view that contains it.

Use the main navigation#

The main navigation can include:

  • Overview for a workspace summary and the most important items requiring attention
  • Live for current work and incoming events
  • Inbox for decisions, approvals, reports, and escalations
  • Workflows for repeatable and scheduled work
  • Reports for completed analysis
  • Connectors for external services, MCP servers, tools, and triggers
  • Settings for workspace, departments, billing, notifications, and security

The pages and departments you see depend on your workspace, plan, and role. A missing control can mean that the feature is unavailable or that your account does not have permission to use it.

Switch workspaces carefully#

Use the workspace switcher when your account belongs to more than one workspace. Check the current workspace before changing settings, approving an action, connecting a service, or reviewing usage.

Each workspace has its own members, departments, business context, connectors, work, and plan. Changing workspace does not move or copy an item.

Enter a department#

Each active department has a Home view and its own work, intelligence, integrations, memory, and settings. The exact navigation reflects that department's role. For example, Sarah has creative requests and a Review Board, while Nova has keywords, rankings, and audits.

The department Home page is the best place to start a new conversation. Use a specific subpage when you need to manage structured records or review a particular kind of work.

Read navigation badges#

A number beside a navigation item usually indicates work that may need attention, such as an unread thread, an approval, or an unresolved review. It is not always a total count of everything stored on that page.

Open the destination and apply its filters before deciding what the badge means. A badge can change when another teammate acts or new work arrives.

Use search, filters, and status tabs#

Search narrows the current collection. Filters and tabs can limit by department, category, status, date, or another field relevant to the page. Clear filters when an expected item appears to be missing.

Changing a filter does not change the underlying record. Changing a status, approving, archiving, or deleting does.

Distinguish monitoring from control#

Overview, Live, Activity, Analytics, and Reports help you understand work. Inbox, Workflows, department queues, settings, and connector controls let you change what happens next.

Opening or reading an item does not approve it. Closing Live does not cancel a run. Pausing a department does not necessarily stop work already in progress. Always use the explicit action shown for the outcome you want.

Find help efficiently#

Use the documentation search for the label you see in the product. Start with Getting Started with Winglo, then use Winglo statuses and terminology or Troubleshooting Winglo when a state or error is unclear.
