Getting Started with Winglo

Everything you need to go from sign-up to your first approved content batch. Onboard your AI department leads, connect your channels, and let your team get to work.

Getting Started with Winglo

Winglo gives your business five AI department leads — Max, Nova, Sarah, Aria, and Remy — each running a specific function on your behalf. This page walks you through how to get set up, what to expect in your first week, and how the platform works day to day.

Step 1 — Complete Your Business Profile

Before your department leads can do anything useful, they need to understand your business.

When you first log in, you are guided through your business profile. This covers:

  • What your business does and who it serves
  • Your target audience and their key challenges
  • Your brand voice and tone
  • The channels you want to be active on
  • Your main offer and call to action

Your department leads read this profile before they do anything. The more accurate it is, the better their output from day one.

You can update your profile at any time from Settings → Business Profile. Changes take effect on the next run.

Step 2 — Onboard Your Department Leads

Each department lead has their own onboarding session. This is where you introduce them to the specifics of your business that go beyond the general profile.

Max — Marketing

Max's onboarding covers your content pillars, posting frequency, and the channels you want him to publish to. After onboarding, Max runs a weekly marketing cycle automatically.

Nova — SEO

Nova's onboarding covers your website, target keywords, and geographic focus. After onboarding, Nova audits your content and surfaces optimisation opportunities.

Sarah — Creative and Brand

Sarah's onboarding covers your visual identity — brand colours, typography, imagery preferences, and what to avoid. After onboarding, Sarah produces visual assets for Max's content and for direct commissions.

Aria — Operations

Aria's onboarding covers your inbox rules — how to qualify leads, which requests to prioritise, and how to respond to common enquiries. After onboarding, Aria monitors and triages your operational inbox.

Remy — Sales

Remy's onboarding covers your ideal customer profile, competitors, pricing, and sales approach. After onboarding, Remy monitors your pipeline, researches prospects, and prepares outreach for your approval.

You do not need to onboard all five at once. Start with Max to get your marketing running, then add departments as you are ready.

Step 3 — Connect Your Channels

To publish content, Max needs at least one connected social channel.

Go to Departments → Marketing → Publishing → Connectors and connect the platforms you want to publish to. Winglo supports LinkedIn, Instagram, and others through the connector flow.

Once connected, Max queues approved content to your channels automatically on the schedule you set.

Step 4 — Review Your First Content Batch

After Max is onboarded, he runs his first weekly cycle within a day or two. When it is ready you receive a notification.

Open Departments → Marketing → Content to see what Max has prepared:

  • A set of posts written in your brand voice
  • Visual assets produced by Sarah
  • A proposed publishing schedule

Review each post, make any edits you want, and approve. Nothing publishes until you say so.

Most founders complete their first review in under 30 minutes.

How the Platform Works Day to Day

Once your departments are running, Winglo operates on autopilot between your review sessions.

Your Inbox

The Inbox is where all items requiring your attention surface — content ready for review, leads Aria has qualified, outreach drafts from Remy, and any flags that need a decision. Check it regularly to keep things moving.

Department Dashboards

Each department has its own hub at Departments → [Department Name]. From here you can see what the department is working on, review outputs, access memory and settings, and chat directly with the department lead.

Chatting with Your Department Leads

Every department lead is available for conversation from their hub. Ask Max what is in this week's pipeline. Ask Remy about a specific prospect. Ask Nova why a particular piece of content is not ranking. They answer from the context of your business, not generic knowledge.

The Weekly Rhythm

Most of what Winglo does runs on a weekly cycle. Max produces a content batch every week. Nova runs an SEO audit on a schedule you set. Remy reviews your pipeline daily and flags anything that needs attention.

You do not need to trigger any of this. It runs automatically.

Settings Worth Knowing

Business Profile — the foundation everything else reads from. Keep it accurate and current.

Automation — each department has an automation toggle. When on, the department runs its cycle automatically. When off, nothing runs until you trigger it manually.

Notification Preferences — control when and how you are notified that content is ready for review, inbox items need attention, or a department needs input.

Brand Assets — upload your logo, brand fonts, and brand guidelines under Settings → Brand. Sarah reads these when producing visual assets.

All settings are found under the gear icon in the top right or within each department's own settings panel.

Getting Help

If something is unclear:

  • These docs — use the search at the top to find answers by keyword
  • Chat with your department lead — they can explain how their department works and what they need from you
  • Support — available from the Help option in your dashboard settings

The documentation is updated as the platform evolves. If something looks different from what you see here, check the date on the page.
