Members, roles, and permissions
Understand workspace roles, invite members, manage pending invitations, and work within seat limits.
Workspace roles decide who can manage shared settings. The controls you see also depend on the workspace plan.
Understand the roles#
Winglo shows three workspace roles:
| Role | General purpose |
|---|---|
| Owner | Holds the highest workspace authority |
| Admin | Helps manage the workspace |
| Member | Uses the workspace for day-to-day work |
A role label does not replace the permission shown on a screen. If a control is hidden or blocked, your account does not have that action in the current workspace.
View members#
Open Settings → Billing and find Team members. The list shows each email and its state, such as accepted or pending.
The seat meter shows used and available seats. Pending invitations can count toward seat use.
Invite a member#
- Open Settings → Billing.
- Enter the person's company email under Team members.
- Choose Invite member.
- Confirm that the invitation appears as pending.
The current team form creates a member invitation. It does not offer a role selector.
New invitations are blocked when the workspace has reached or exceeded its seat limit. Use the plan and seat information shown in Billing as the source of truth.
Withdraw a pending invitation#
An eligible user can choose Revoke beside a pending invitation. Read the confirmation, then choose Revoke invitation.
This action withdraws the invitation and cannot be undone. Send a new invitation if the person still needs access.
The current control applies to pending invitations. It is not a general control for removing an accepted member.
Work with permissions safely#
- Give administrative access only when the person needs it.
- Use named accounts instead of shared sign-ins.
- Review pending invitations for old or incorrect addresses.
- Revoke an invitation sent to the wrong address immediately.
- Do not share invitation links.
- Review access when a teammate changes role or leaves.
If the interface does not provide a required membership or role action, contact your Winglo workspace administrator or representative. Do not try to work around the control by sharing an account.
Connected systems are separate#
Changing Winglo membership does not remove access at connected services. Review the provider account, API keys, shared mailboxes, and other business systems separately.
